This year EIS hosted yet another basketball ABSH on this November. Many great teams participated and even our greatest rival the Americana of Tegucigalpa came. Hopes were high for this year’s team to win and be champions. Juvenil boys had been preparing since July and had a new coach training them. The coach’s name is Cesar. He brought to the team a great amount of tactics and new training regime. The whole team looked fit and confident, you could see their level was higher then last years. The juvenile team had an amazing performance on the first games, they amazed everyone but were stopped by the Americana on their first game. After a couple of more games they reached the finals and had to face the Americana again. EIS was superior on the first quarter but after a couple of wrong decisions by the head coach “The Cuban” the Americana took advantage of that and at the defeated EIS by eight points. EIS again lost and history repeated itself.

christopher ortega: i think that the team did a great job, the basket team work really hard since the start of the year I think that the second place is a good position although next year we have to go for the first place.
