Social Work at E.I.S.

September 15, the eleventh grade had a beautiful experience in the Froylan Turcios public school. That day the eleventh graders brightened the faces of the kids and it made them feel good. When they got there, the kids ran at them and hugged them; they were so happy that someone was going to celebrate with them a very special day. The kids were really nice with them , they treated them well and involved them in their daily activities. Those kids needed for someone to care about them, to show them they had someone to care about them and that’s what the eleventh graders did. The eleventh grade had lots of activities to entertain the kids, they played “Mar y Tierra”, “Salta la Cuerda” and other games. Before the kids got tired of playing, the eleventh graders had a surprise for them; they had brought piñatas! The piñatas made the kids very happy; they looked like the happiest children ever! They were even more happy when they found out that there was another piñata waiting for them. Everyone had a turn to hit the piñata and had fun doing it. Once they were all inside the classroom the eleventh graders gave the kids paper, colors and paint; for them to draw what they most liked about their day with them. The pictures were sincere and adorable; every single picture was unique and different, many of the kids wanted that the eleventh graders took them home to remember that day with them. The fun didn’t stop there, the eleventh graders then tooked out their special color pencil paint to paint the children’s faces and the kids felt loved. The children were tired around 12 30 pm, so the eleventh graders brought them some lunch; they brought sandwhich for every single one of them a big delicous cake. They all were very excited that the kids tooked food for their families! It was a very special day for them and for the eleventh graders; they felt good for the change of a face of someone who needed to.
